If I call out to you will you come when convenient or will you greet me out of breath?
Will you run a red or will you wait until it's permissable to proceed?
I know if you called upon me then before I knew of the issue I would be present.
I've needed you more than not but I understand it's hard to reach you.
if you were still here then I know you would make the effort.
For as long as I knew you I wished the only time you would break my heart is when your own stopped beating.
Yet I find myself wishing you had shattered me more so that maybe I had more to remember you by.
And if it caused me to resent you, then maybe Id have more of you to hold on to.
I know there is no tourble where you are so wait to call on me.
Until then I have no choice but to proceed when given permission.
I would not call that convenience.
