To Hate Being Alone, Or To Hate Your Being, Alone.
Chosen Solitude is the most comfortable and accepting form of self hatred.
Not many truly enjoy being alone.
They have chosen that path because they are scared of the possibility of rejection, vulnerability, and discomfort that can come with the presence of others.
It is often seen as a healthy act of self care and preservation simply because of the comfort that comes with the avoidance of conflict, judgement, or disappointment.
Over the journey of embarked solitude you become accepting to the false idea that maybe you are better off unseen.
Better off alone where you can’t hurt and bother others.
Your fear of hurting others stems from the daunting possibility of abandonment.
This is why you have chosen solitude among many.
You fear that hurting others will make everyone confirm their worst view of you.
Your fragile self image continues to crack.
Your loneliness has choked the breath out of your lungs.
You beg to be able to love others though you have chosen your own way of living.
Your own path of solitude, yet you still think about loving others.
How can you love others if you cannot even love yourself.
You are the mirror with nothing behind it.
You are the silence you so fear.
You are the cage and the captive.
You are a fraud one whose truth you chose to bury alive.
